In no particular order, for no particular reason other than I like them, here are some sites that might be of interest to any weirdos visiting this site.
IQ’s Food, Music, and Art: The new, updated place that gave us our first fling in public. Great chow, eclectic stuff on the walls, booze galore, and a wide variety of awesome bands and musicians make this one of the top attractions in Green Bay. Now out on University Avenue.
DINOSAURDAYS: A huge amount of information on rock music, particularly classic and progressive rock in the 70s.
Randy's Rodeo: Rock 'n roll, R&B, Texas music, you name it. Tons of stuff on different genres and artists.
Todd Rundgren: An all-Flash site from one of the coolest guys in rock.
Compass Rose quintet: You need to check these guys out if only for the reason that my cousin is the bass player. They also sound fantastic. (Buy their CDs - maybe I'll wind up in his will.)
Jethro Tull - Cup of Wonder: Everything you always wanted to know about Tull songs in intricate, loving detail. Wish I knew this stuff thirty years ago. I could have impressed all the babes I let get away.
The Beatles: The best band of all time. Not even close.
33rd Illinois Volunteer Regiment Band: Expertly playing the music that rocked, a hundred fifty years ago.
Ed “Big Daddy” Roth: Keep yer Van Goghs and Picassos...this site has real art. “Big Daddy” was a hero of mine, and of other ratfink lovers, way back in junior high.
The Puple Grotto.com: A tribute site to one of the coolest cats in the history of DJ-dom - Al “Jazzbo” Collins.
